Couplings

These couplings were designed and manufactured by Perrott Engineering for a mine site project in PNG. Nothing like this is available on the open market so we designed and manufactured our own.

Design strength was verified with the FEA software we run in our engineering department and machining carried out in our Cairns workshop.

The market for couplings of this type and size is not large, but if you need a smaller coupling with a splined bore and clamp design, we can make them for you as well.
Our Sodick EDM wire cut machine can cut any internal keyway or spline up to 500mm long in any material that will conduct electricity, so aluminium, brass, copper, solid tungsten carbide or any steel type can be cut easily and quickly.
